Crystal Renee Byrd, 49, of Patrick, SC, passed away on February 25, 2025. She was born on June 29, 1975, in Cheraw, SC, to Dennis and Sally Tyner Byrd.
Crystal was known for her loving and joyful spirit. She had a passion for crafting and shopping, and she cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren. Despite her brief time with us, her life was filled with love, happiness, and an appreciation for the simple pleasures, including her favorite plants, elephant ears, banana trees, and bamboo. She was also a devoted pet owner, caring for her cat, Sassy, and dog, Casper.
Crystal is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Everett and Virginia Tyner, and her paternal grandparents, Charlie Byrd and Sadie Mae O’Neal.
Her memory is lovingly preserved by her son, Avery White (Rebekah) of Cheraw, SC; daughters, Lacey White, and Olivia Peters (Landon) both of Patrick, SC; parents, Dennis and Sally Byrd of Patrick, SC; sisters, Beverly Player (Joe) of Patrick, SC, Ronda Zaring (Devin) of Texas, and Vonda Riley (Josh) of Louisiana; grandchildren, Harper, Macyn, Sadie, Teagen, and Natalie; her companion, Bradley Minick of Patrick, SC; the father of her children, Scott White of Chesterfield, SC; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Patrick, SC, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025.
