Crystal Owen Cooper, born on September 24, 1977, in Davidson County, North Carolina, passed away on October 1, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC. Crystal lived a life dedicated to service and family, profoundly impacting the lives of those around her.
A proud veteran of the Marine Corps, Crystal exemplified bravery and commitment, both in her military service and her professional career as a Medical Office Assistant at Daymark Recovery Service in Lexington. Her compassionate nature and dedication to helping others marked her tenure in the healthcare field, where she worked tirelessly to support the wellbeing of her patients.
Crystal leaves behind her beloved family, including her son, Matthew Coy Cooper, and her daughter, Monica Elizabeth Cooper (Kendric Jordan), both of the home. She is also mourned by her cherished grandson, Colt Burns. Her brother, Michael Owen of Lexington, along with her devoted parents, David Owen and Janice Owen, will continue to honor her memory in their lives.
In celebration of Crystal's life, a memorial service will be held on October 5, 2025, at Piedmont Funeral Home Timberlake Chapel located at 405 S Main St, Lexington, NC. The service will commence at 4:00 PM with Pastor Bruce Clark officiating. Family will receive friends after the service at 145 Moss Brook Drive, Lexington, North Carolina 27292.
Crystal Owen Cooper will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her service to her country, and her compassionate spirit. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
