Crystal Marie Chilton Morris, age 50, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, September 30, 2025, following a recent outpatient stint placement procedure. Born on June 25, 1975, in Lubbock, Texas, she was the daughter of Charles Chilton and Roxie Chilton Powers.

Crystal graduated from Anadarko High School in 1993 and began her career working at McDonald's and Luby's, later serving as a PBX Operator. While employed as a school bus monitor, she met her future husband, Greg Morris, who was driving the bus. Their whirlwind romance blossomed into marriage, joining two families into one loving, blended home. Due to disability, Crystal later retired but continued to bring joy and kindness to those around her.

Known for her gift of gab and outgoing nature, Crystal made friends wherever she went and was a cherished neighbor. She was vigilant in watching over her neighborhood and caring for local cats. Crystal delighted in collecting owls and treasured childhood visits to her grandparents' farm in Lorenzo, Texas, where she spent time with family.

Crystal's compassionate heart extended to animals, especially puppies, and to people in need. She volunteered at Agape Services in Amarillo when able, always eager to help others. Her warmth, generosity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed.

Crystal is survived by her husband, Greg Morris of Amarillo; her mother, Roxie Powers of Pampa; her father, Charles P. Chilton of Oklahoma; three sons and two daughters, including Mercedes Mabert of Lookeba, OK, and Hannah Anderson and spouse Summer of Pampa; several siblings, including Patty Whisler and husband Jason of Borger, and Chelsie Powers of Edmond, OK; three grandchildren in Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Crystal's honor to Panhandle Behavioral Health Alliance (PBHA), 2207 Line Ave, Amarillo, TX 79106, to support mental health services in the community.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
