Crystal Diane Rushing

Crystal Diane Rushing passed away Apr. 17, 2024. Diane was born on Oct. 25, 1950 in Memphis, TN. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1968 and attended Memphis State University.

 

Diane was married to the late Rann Rushing for25 years. After divorce, Diane lived with her sister, Lynn Priest for 30 years, first in Bartlett, TN then moving to Chapel Hill, TN. Their home was a haven for family and hosted get-togethers for all sorts of family celebrations. In retirement Diane enjoyed a peaceful life, following her growing family, and vacations to Amelia Island, FL with her brother Cliff Harville and sister-in-law June.

 

Diane was preceded in death by her beloved parents, J.C. and Molly Kathryn Harville. 

 

Diane leaves behind four children: Scott Rushing, his wife Emily Holladay, their children Franklin and Eliza; Jeff Rushing, his wife Valerie, their children Cooper and Penelope; Stacy Yates, her husband James, her children, Maya and Nathaniel Edwards; Stephanie Lucas, her husband William; sister Molly Lynn Priest; brother Cliff Harville; sister Beverly Schrider.

 

Visitation will be Monday, Apr. 22, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 9 AM – 10 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 10 AM. Diane will be buried next to her Mom and Dad at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
