Curtis F. Brewer was born February 1, 1956, in Indianapolis to Howard Brewer Jr. and Shirley Coleman Brewer. Curtis was brought up in church at an early age. Curtis had many gifted talents. He was enlisted in the Marines. Curtis lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed art and painting, family gatherings, and spending time with friends. He loved to sing to everyone he knew. Curtis departed Monday, August 5, 2025.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Howard Brewer Jr. and Shirley M. (Coleman) Brewer, brothers, Ricky Coleman, Howard Brewer III, and his children; Curtis F. Brewer Jr. and Brandon Lloyd Brewer, great nephews; Coleman, Cornelius Chanyce Watford, and his beloved pet dog” Baby Girl” .

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory loving wife; Mary Finch-Brewer, his children; Sigmund Brewer (Anh-TuLe), and; Ramsay Brewer, daughter; Brittany Brewer- Mayers, (Shaquille Mayers), stepson; Devon Tidwell(Barbara), grandsons Isaiah and Noah Tidwell, brothers; William Brewer, Marcus, Brewer, and Lloyd Brewer,, sister; Deborah Gambles-Brewer (Tony), 5 nephews, 9 nieces, 15 great-nephews,14 great nieces,6 great- great nieces and 3 great- great nephews a host of relatives and friends.
