Curtis Jay Fallaw, 55, of Lee County, died Saturday, January 6, 2024.
His memorial service will be 6:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Gaines will officiate.
Born in Cuthbert, GA, Curt lived most of his life in the Albany area and graduated from Riverview Academy. He was with Phoebe Putney as a Hyperbaric Technician and also had worked with Dougherty County EMS, Lee County EMS and Grady Critical Care.
Curt enjoyed cooking and grilling, hunting, college football, and watching movies. He was proud of being a paramedic and serving others. More than anything, Curt loved his family and his greatest love was being a father to his 3 children.
His parents J. E. “Jim” and Merle Fallaw, Sr. and brother, J. E. “Butch” Fallaw, Jr. preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda McCollister Fallaw, children, Tylar Fallaw, Jackson Fallaw, Tripp Fallaw, brother Jon Fallaw, nieces and nephews, Parker Fallaw, Jordan Fallaw, Makayla Fallaw, Madison Fallaw, Maisie Fallaw and Abigale Clark.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Anchorage Inc. 162 Hampton Lane, Leesburg, GA 31763.
