Mary Frances Rhoden Ricks-Fallaw, age 76, passed away on January 23, 2025 at her home in Aiken.
She is survived by her children, Melissa (Jay) Landers, Billy (Bridget) Ricks; grandchildren, Sammie B. Ricks, Jesse Redd, Hannah Ricks, Aidan Redd, Amber Landers; brothers, Doug Rhoden, Tommy Rhoden; sisters, Phyllis Gunter, Wanda (Eddie) Braxton; and her dog, "Socks".
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Eugene C. and Frances Wilson Rhoden; brothers. J.E. Rhoden, Buddy Rhoden, Cecil Rhoden; and sister, Bonnie Lanier.
Mary worked at Savannah River Site in Security and later worked in administration before her retirement. She was in the first group of female patrol officers for Dupont Patrol and was very proud of that accomplishment. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and the beach, and enjoyed dancing and having a good time. Mary absolutely loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She was known as a great cook. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on her birthday, Tuesday January 28, 2025 at 5pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Alvin Padgett officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
