Thank you for that wonderful obituary. You truly captured the essence of this remarkable man! Like all of his patients, I felt as if I were the most important person in his office at each appointment. I struggled with respiratory allergies and adult-onset asthma, and I really felt that we worked as a team to come up with a patient plan that has changed my life! His listening skills made all the difference in my progress with managing my allergies. I was in the office right after he received his shipment of bees, and we had a chat that day about choosing some native plants to complement other sources of nectar on his property. Next time I saw him, he told me he'd been to a native plant sale and was excited about learning more about them! He was truly a lifelong learner. I think Dr. Hedberg might have missed a career in standup comedy - he was brilliantly funny! I join so many others in wishing for peace and healing for his family and many friends. Sudden loss is hard and he was far too young! Please know that you are joined in your grief by so many others. - Ellen E Turner

Dr. Hedberg helped rule out this and that when he tested my husband. Dr. Hedberg was so thorough, so knowledgeable, and very caring. We need more people like him. NW Arkansas will miss him.

He was my physician for decade and half. Incredibly kind and caring. I am really going to miss him.
