Cynthia Jo Alford, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 67. She was born on January 16, 1958, in Anderson to Jerry and Carol Alford.

A graduate of Highland High School, Class of 1976, Cindy went on to pursue her calling as a nurse, serving with skill and compassion throughout her career. She worked at Miller’s in Middletown, Northview Nursing Home, and most recently at Dr. Woodall’s office, where she touched the lives of countless patients and co-workers.

Cindy loved having her grandchildren over, crocheting, crafting, and reading. She never missed an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger and cherished time with her beloved “Chucky Baby.” Known for her feisty personality, she loved deeply and was never afraid to speak her mind.

She is survived by her children Tony (Lisa) Alford, Cara (John) Cloud, and Kyla (Tyson) Menifield; her mother, Carol Alford; her sister, Teresa Spangler Everhart; her grandchildren, Courtney, Kegan, Brandon, Maliky, Aleeya, Jerry, Davieon, Khali, Kashyah, Amayah, Kayla, and Kelsie; several special nieces; and her sweet dog, Parker.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Alford; her sister, Robin Strange; and her son, Kris Kuklenski.

Her life was full of love, laughter, and honesty, and she will be remembered for the way she embraced every moment with boldness and heart.
