Timothy Lee Thomas, 73, of Pendleton, passed away on August 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on January 15, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana, to his parents, Joseph C. and Nelda P. Thomas. Tim graduated from Shenandoah High School and Lincoln Tech. He was an ASE certified Mechanic. Tim loved his family and made himself available to help out his friends whenever he could. He was a devoted follower of Christ and enjoyed being part of the music worship team at his church. He loved his music, participating in many bands over his life playing guitar, drums, bass and keyboard. He was an avid reader of suspense, thriller and adventure novels. He was the consummate tinkerer, able to fix anything he got his hands on. He spent time working on sprint cars with long time friend Steve Smith. He also spent time building and racing go carts. He also spent several years skydiving, recording over 200 jumps at the Anderson Municipal Airport(Darlington Field). He retired from Ed Martin Toyota after working 45 years as a service technician. He was a member of North Christian Church. Tim is survived by his loving spouse, Karen Thomas of Pendleton, Indiana; son, Michael (Keri) Thomas of Middletown, Indiana; granddaughter, Oriana Thomas; grandson, Ryder Thomas; brother, Jack (Angel) Thomas of Middletown, Indiana; Sister, Rixalyn Coleman of Middletown, Indiana; Brother, Jon (Christy) Thomas of Pendleton, Indiana; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews and his faithful friend Buffer the cat. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. and Nelda P. Thomas; Sister, Jo Carol McGinnis; Brother-In-Law, Steve McGinnis; Brother-In-Law, Michael Coleman. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at North Christian Church, 32 State Street, Markleville, Indiana, 46056. A memorial service will follow visitation at 3:00 pm at the church with Pastor John Hackney officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to North Christian Church.
