Cynthia Michelle Archer, 50, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on Wednesday December 4, 2024 at her home.
She was born on December 27, 1973 to James and Janet (Ireland) Archer in Liberal, KS.
Cynthia grew up in the Altus, Arkansas and Turpin, Oklahoma areas. She was a graduate of Turpin, Oklahoma High School; class of 1992. Cynthia later graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor's Degree in Business in 2009.
Cynthia had lived in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas until she moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 2011. She had worked in management for several years with Sherwin-Williams in Kansas and Colorado then with Walgreens in Arkansas and Colorado. Cynthia was a very hard worker and she enjoyed work.She was very good at management and not only was a fair employer, she wanted the best for her employees. She wasn't just a boss she was a friend with a big heart. She also had obtained her Real Estate License with Keller Williams in Colorado Springs.
Cynthia enjoyed hiking, sightseeing, taking people out to eat, and dog sitting. She loved her Doberman Arya, taking her everywhere with her that she could. She had a very generous attitude and enjoyed helping those in need. Her greatest joy was her granddaughter Addy, who proclaims that Cynthia was "the best mom mom ever"!
She is at peace with her savior, Jesus and she will be greatly missed by all that love her.
Cynthia is survived by her Daughter, Alexis McCarthy and husband Kaleb of Keenesburg, CO; Granddaughter, Addyson McCarthy; Parents, James and Janet Archer of Turpin, OK; Sister, Pamela Archer of Alma, AR;Brother, Jeremy Archer and wife Sarah of Turpin, OK; Ten Nieces & Nephews, and many Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, James D and Bernice Archer, Hubert Doyle and Donna M. (Nelson) Ireland; Uncles, David K. Ireland, Cecil Archer, and Roy Dean Archer; Aunt Janice Bohon.
Viewing will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Miller Mortuary. Cremation will follow.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Friday December 13, 2024 at New Beginnings Church in Liberal. The Service will be live streamed through New Beginnings Church's YouTube Channel.
Cynthia loved dogs, the family requests that Memorial Donations be made to Loving Paws Rescue of Tyrone, Oklahoma in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
