Cynthia Brian Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 14, 2025.
Cynthia Brian, beloved wife, daughter, colleague, and friend, was born on November 13, 1964, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
A lifelong lover of music and beauty, Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Tennessee. Her remarkable musical gifts and deep faith found expression both in her career and her personal life. As an accomplished pianist and dedicated worship leader, she shared her talent generously, inspiring joy and devotion in all who heard her play.
For many years, Cynthia was a valued member of Tennessee Insurance Services, where she was admired for her loyalty, kindness, and professionalism. Outside of her work and music, she found great joy in horses, which reflected her gentle spirit, grace, and love of the natural world.
Cynthia is preceded in death by Patricia Berry, George Berry, and Kathy Carey. She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Danny Brian, along with Al Cobb, Carol Brown, and many dear friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m., at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, with Reverend Charles Maynard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation. Please make checks payable to Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation and mail to:
