Cynthia Lynn Chriscoe

Cynthia York Chriscoe, born on April 19, 1971, in Randolph County, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 16, 2025, at the age of 54. Cynthia will be remembered for her warm spirit, dedication to her family, and her many passions. Cynthia spent her career working in the furniture industry as a skilled upholsterer, where she took great pride in her craftsmanship and attention to detail. Outside of her work, she found joy in bass fishing, gardening, and cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys. One of her proudest moments was catching a 4-pound bass, which she had mounted to commemorate the achievement. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Chriscoe, and her mother, Treva Powell York. Her memory will be cherished by her surviving family, including her daughter, Amber Chriscoe Tanner, and husband Aaron of Lexington; and her adored grandchildren, Evan Tanner, Emma Tanner, and Easton Tanner. Cynthia is also survived by her brothers, Billy York and wife Selina of Ramseur, and Jamie York of Asheboro; her sister, Crystal York Lambeth and husband Alvin of Asheboro; and her nieces and nephews: Billy York, Torrie York, Kalie Lambeth, Devin York, Serena York, Chastity York, Josiah York, and Destiny York. A service of remembrance will be held at 1 PM on June 14, 2025, at Baileys Grove Baptist Church in Asheboro. Cynthia's family invites those who knew and loved her to join them in celebrating her life and sharing fond memories. Cynthia will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
