James "Jim" Everette Chriscoe, age 87, of Randleman went to be with his Lord and Savior February 16, 2025 at his home. He was born January 16, 1938 in Randolph County, North Carolina the son of the late Everette Chriscoe and Mabel Yow Chriscoe Odom. Jim's journey through life was one marked by dedication and perseverance. For many years, he worked diligently on the third shift to support his family, ensuring they had everything they needed. His career saw him rise to the position of supervisor with Perdue and Sapona Manufacturing, and it was during his time at JP Stevens Textiles that he met the love of his life, Faye. Their love story of 60 years showed dedication and love and was a testament to others. Jim loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was lovingly nicknamed "Pawpaw". Holding his grand and great grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he took great pleasure in caring for them and watching them grow. An avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, Jim's enthusiasm for baseball was infectious. Before health challenges limited his activities, he found solace and excitement in the great outdoors, often hunting and fishing. Jim could be found enjoying the classic westerns and war movies, finding comfort and entertainment in their stories. As a man of faith, Jim attended Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 60 years, Faye Keeling Chriscoe; sons, Darren Chriscoe and James Colon Chriscoe (Teresa); daughter, Keisha C. Callicutt (Eddie); sisters, Susie C.
