Cynthia J. Emmons Starksboro/Hinesburg VT 11/16/1955 – 6/6/2024
Cynthia "Cindy" Emmons passed peacefully on June 6, 2024, with a large number of devoted family by her side.
She was born November 16, 1955, and graduated from CVU in 1974. She served in the army for a short time, before returning home to help care for her youngest sibling. She worked as a LNA, caring for people in their final days. She worked at MMU and CVU for a short time before retiring. She was also a huge fan of Elvis, and collected her fair share of memorabilia.
She was a devoted mother of 4, who all survive her: Ben (Karen) Emmons, Bambi (Scott) Loftus, Ervin (Melinda) Emmons, and Sarah Miller. She is also survived by her siblings, Rodney (Cathy) Emmons, Connie (Ron) Abbey, Leslie (Shannon) Emmons, and Lydia Fuller.
She is survived by 7 grandchildren, Scott Jr. (Noel) Loftus, Izzy (Ethan) Emmons, Zachary Loftus, Devin Emmons, Hannah (Caleb) Emmons, Rosie Emmons, and Brooke Loftus. She also has one great granddaughter due in November.
She is predeceased by her parents, Earl Jr. (Squirrel) Gert Emmons, and brothers Morey and Ricky Emmons.
She will be missed greatly by all family and many friends.
A celebration of life for Cynthia will take place at the Hinesburg Parish Hall, 10570 Rt 116, Hinesburg VT 05461 on Saturday, June 29th, 1:00PM-5:00PM.
