Gary Paul Bevins, III

We are heartbroken to share the tragic news of the untimely passing of Gary Paul Bevins III on 7/31/25 at the age of 37, following a devastating car accident. Gary's dog Cookie was by his side and has also passed away, they will be interned together.

Gary carried on a cherished family legacy, sharing his name with generations before and after him. He is survived by his loving father, Gary Paul Bevins II, his cherished son, Gary Paul IV, and was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Gary Paul Bevins Sr.

His sudden departure also leaves an incomparable emptiness in the lives of our loving family, his Grandmother Pattie Russell & Dan Roberts, Aunt Paula & David Warren,

his brother Colby Bevins, Kyona & children, his cherished cousins, Nicole, Jenna, Jessica, their spouses & children.

His Mother Karen Hirsch Booska, Grandmother Rose Hirsch, Sisters Sarah Brooks & Chelsea Booska.

His estranged wife Shawna Bevins, John & Robyn Little and Tamela Ross-Little. Gary was predeceased by his brother-in-law Eric Ross.

Gary is survived by a large family, with numerous aunts, uncles & cousins, as well as, a wide circle of cherished friends from his school and work life.

He was born on June 23,1988 in Burlington, Vermont and attended schools in Burlington & Colchester. Gary worked at Nates Automotive, South Burlington Mazda and was

recently employed by Details Painting.

Gary loved the outdoors, Camping, Skateboarding, Snowboarding, 4 Wheeling & Snow Machine adventures, creating unforgettable multi-generational bonds with his

father, son & brother Colby. But above all, Gary cherished watching his son, Gary IV, play hockey…attending every single game!

Gary will be remembered for his radiant smile, his love & commitment to family, his unwavering kindness and wonderful sense of humor.

Gary Paul IV is heartbroken by the loss of his Dad, whom he adored and calls his hero.
