Cynthia Gail Gardner (Cumbee), 68 years old, of Moncks Corner, SC passed into the arms of Jesus on 11/16/24.
Cynthia grew up in Hanahan, SC, the daughter of Edward A. Cumbee Sr. and Judy Cole Cumbee. Cynthia was a hippie, bohemian, mermaid at heart. She found beauty in her garden, in the waves and sandy beaches of the Lowcountry and in tiny treasures, like sea glass, she picked up along the way. She was a natural beauty filled with curiosity, who always danced to the beat of her own drum. She loved the Lord and marveled at His creation. Surely, He marveled right back at the wild-spirited child He created. We take comfort knowing that she is with Him and experiencing the peace which transcends all understanding.
Cynthia is survived by her beloved daughter, Gabrielle Gardner, her mother, Judy Cole Cumbee and her brother, Christopher Cumbee, along with other family and friends. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father Edward A. Cumbee Sr. and brother Edward A. Cumbee Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
