Cynthia Gail Gregory, age 68, of Belton passed away in the evening hours of Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple. She was born on May 21st, 1956, to parents Bobby Hobbs and Marie Jane Hubnik in San Angelo, Texas.
Cynthia's parents moved to Carson, California when Cynthia was a little girl. Cynthia would go on to graduate from school there and start her own life from that point on. In just a few years Cynthia would eventually settle down in Belton, where she would reside for the last 25 years. Cynthia worked for Scott & White as the Systems Director for more than 10 years. She had a very good work ethic and her devotion to her job was an important part of her livelihood. Cynthia was a light and joy to her daughters Jamie and Lisa and as well as her four grandchildren: Jordan, Conner, Christen, and Gauge. In her spare time, Cynthia loved gardening, always making sure her garden was well kept and beautiful. Cynthia also enjoyed shopping at numerous places and hand sculpting the most stunning ceramics. Most of all, Cynthia loved cooking for her family and friends anytime she had the chance. Cynthia's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a brother.
Cynthia leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Jamie Lee of Belton and Lisa Springer of New Mexico, four grandchildren: Jordan, Conner, Christen, and Gauge, as well as one sister Sue Sponsler and husband Joe of California.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with these arrangements.
