Robert Eugene Billeck, age 91, of Moody passed from this life surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Robert was born to Edward Paul Billeck and Philomena Genievieve (Havelka) Billeck on March 28, 1934, in Holland.

Robert attended Temple High School, where he would graduate and further go on to join the United States Army. He would proudly serve his country for many years. After that he would go on to receive his associate degree from Louisiana Tech in just six weeks; also receiving the title of valedictorian of his class. During all this, Robert would marry the love of his life, Joy (Foyt) Billeck in Temple on June 15, 1960. The two would spend many wonderful years together, blessing this world with one son. Robert attended the First Assembly of God in Moody, where he was a faithful member, and always helping the church in any way he could. Later in Robert's adult life he would retire from Trunkline Gas Co. after his hard work and dedication to them for 34 years. Robert was a handyman; he could repair any motors, or anything broken for that matter. Robert loved getting to help others and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Although his passing leaves a whole in our hearts, we take much pride knowing that he is in heaven with his Lord and Savior. Robert will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, nine siblings, and son Lionel Mark Billeck.

Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Joy Billeck of Moody, son Robert E. Billeck II and wife Lisa of Houston, granddaughters Krystal and Kassie Billeck also of Houston, brother Lee Billeck of Temple, and sister Georgia Lambright of Alabama.

Funeral service will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11 o'clock a.m. with Josh Pruett officiating. Following the service, Robert will be buried in Moffat Cemetery. The family will be accepting visitors at the funeral home on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 6 o'clock p.m. to 8 o'clock p.m.

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with these arrangements.
