Cynthia “Cindy” Griffith passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on August 14, 1959, the daughter of the late William and Carolyn White. Cindy lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering faith.
Cindy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Danny Griffith, her brother, Steve White, and other cherished family members. She is survived by her siblings Marsha (Rick) Huffman, Tim White, and Joe Freeman, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Cindy was the proud mother of three daughters — Bernie (Kenny), Tina, and Carri (Mike) — and the beloved Grandma to nine wonderful grandchildren: Jon, Lucas, Austin (Molli), Emily (Sonny), Trevor (Adysen), Trentin, Treyden, Julian, and Jahdalynn. She was also blessed with five beautiful great-granddaughters who brought her endless joy.
Cindy shared her heart and guidance with her “bonus daughters” — Jackie Hiles, Kelly McKinney, Nikki Estep and Leslie Burkitt— who were deeply special to her. Also, Patricia "Mom" Reynolds who took Cindy under her wing many years ago.
She loved life and embraced every moment. Cindy enjoyed being outdoors in the sunshine, tending to her garden, and cheering for her favorite teams — the Bengals, the Reds, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She found happiness in cooking, listening to music, and dancing in the kitchen with her unforgettable smile. A woman of strong faith, Cindy loved the Lord with all her heart. Her kindness, compassion, and joyful spirit touched everyone blessed to know her. Cindy’s light will continue to shine through the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the countless memories she created with those she loved most.
In honor of Cindy's contagious laughter and vibrant spirit, her family would like to invite you to a Celebration of Life being held on October 18th 10am-12pm at Faith Family Church, 64 Williams Rd in Wilmington, Ohio.
