Cynthia Ann Hudson

Cynthia Ann Hudson, age 72, of Boston Heights, Ohio passed away Monday June 9, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of the late James D. Hudson; dearest mother of Jessica Hudson and Jason (Amanda) Hudson; loving grandmother of Skylar and Miles Hudson; dear sister of Ann (Sandi Rubin-Wright) Wright; daughter of the late Gerald and Alice Wright.
Cynthia was a 1971 graduate of Nordonia High School. She was a longtime resident of Boston Heights, and loved growing up there surrounded by many friends and family members. She was artistic and creative, and loved crafting in her spare time, a love for which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She was full of love and kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand. Cindy touched the lives of many, whether it was through Scouts, baseball, marching band, or any of the other activities her family was involved in. She was always there to help with fundraisers, field trips, band competitions, campouts, and Eagle Scout projects. Cindy would spend hours during the summer planting flowers and working outside, anything to be out in nature. In later years, as her husband, Jim, became a professional Santa, she helped with all his events, whether he was visiting a family, food drives, toy drives, or pet photos to raise money for the local Humane Society. Cindy also loved spending time with her grandchildren, Skylar and Miles, sharing the many things she loved and watching them grow in their own ways. Gone too soon, she will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her, and will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Emergency Assistance Center in Northfield (teacenter.org) or the Summit County Humane Society (summithumane.org).
Friends will be received Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 2-4 PM at Busch-Romito Funeral Home 99 W. Aurora Road (Rt. 82 1 mile west of Rt. 8) Northfield Center, Ohio where services will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 at 11 AM.
