Cynthia "Cindy" Susan Keeter, 71, of Everton, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 12, 1953, in Iowa to Bert Allen and Mary Lorraine Green Clayton. Cindy moved to Harrison early in her career and quickly became a valued member of the community. She built a successful career as a business manager, contributing her talents to multiple local businesses and supporting the academic foundations of the area.
While working at Mass Merchandisers (McKesson), she met the love of her life, Robert. Together, they built a life of love and dedication, balancing their careers with their shared passion for cattle farming in the Ozark Mountain region. Cindy was a devoted mother, actively involved in her children's education as a PTA member and later as a beloved substitute teacher. Her unwavering support of the Bruno-Pyatt Patriots made her a fixture at school events, where she cheered on students with enthusiasm and pride.
In retirement, Cindy's heart for all creatures, great and small, led her to work tirelessly with local animal rescue organizations, always striving to bring comfort and care to animals in need. Her love for her family remained at the center of her life, and she took immense pride in her "Marine boys," Brian, Brennan, and grandson Greg.
Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; her children, Lisa, Brian, and Brennan; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Chris; and she will be deeply missed by a host of extended family, friends, and former colleagues.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Holt Memorial Chapel, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Cindy's remarkable life.
Cindy's kindness, positivity, and zest for life touched all who knew her-especially those lucky enough to hear her favorite words of encouragement: "Put on your roller skates and sparkle!"
As an alternative to flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Ozark Homeward Bound, Post Office Box 155, Harrison, Arkansas 72602 or Best Friends Animal Society at https://bestfriends.org/donate.
