Cynthia "Cindy" J. Mathis, age 58 of Baxter, Tennessee passed from this life Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville.
Born Saturday, January 19, 1963 in Cookeville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John and Joan (Hedgecough) Williams.
Cindy was a loving Wife, Mother, Nana, and Friend to all who knew her. She graduated from Tennessee Tech with a Bachelors Degree and worked at Tennessee Tech over 30 years. She enjoyed reading, playing on her phone, traveling with her friends on mini vacations, playing dominos, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Cindy is survived by her Husband of 40 years, Johnny Eugene Mathis of Baxter, TN

A Memorial Service for Cindy will be held Tuesday January18, 2022, beginning at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home, with Bro. Bucky Floyd officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, January 18 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm.
