Cynthia Anne Nedved of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away January 29, 2024. Born September 6, 1959, to the late Robert J. Brown and Mary E. Brown in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Cindy was sixty-four years old.
Before moving to Asheville, Cindy also spent time living in Clemson and Anderson, South Carolina, and Hart, Georgia. She graduated from Anderson College and Clemson University, and worked as a teacher and social worker. Cindy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Civil Rights activist. Cindy enjoyed her hobbies and helping others and caring for them. Cindy loved doing crafts, reading, running, ballet, and music. She always tried to improve and further educate herself. Cindy was an animal lover and rescuer.
Cindy was the best wife in the world. She was the bravest, the loveliest, the greatest, the prettiest, the cutest, the smartest, the funniest, the most caring, the most supportive, the most helpful, brilliant, loving, sweet, the most beautiful, and devoted wife. Cindy was the greatest mom and awesome grandma. Cindy was the best of the best. I loved her and I still do infinitely, and I can't understand how I was so lucky to have her in my life. Cindy was loved by family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure to meet her.
In addition to her husband of eighteen years, Jiri Nedved, Cindy is survived by her son, Robert D. Bailey; sister, Suzanne Brown; granddaughter, Ella Bailey; aunt, Maxine Bickell; and cousin, Joyce Bickell.
