Cynthia Lynette Thomas Parker was born on November 2 nd 1958 to the Union of Millard Filmore Thomas, Sr. and Erma Louise Thomas in Portsmouth, Va.
Cynthia Thomas Parker is a graduate of I.C. Norcom High School in 1977 for Fashion Design in Portsmouth, Va. Sometime after graduation, she became a seamstress at London Fog. Later, she developed a lifelong love of interior design where she would decorate her home quite frequent and others as well. She then met her long time companion Gerald, to this union was born their 2 children Marc Thomas and Gerakita Thomas. Later, in 1991 Gerald and Cynthia relocated to Charlotte, NC where recently in 2021 she graduated with her Bachelors degree in Christian Education from PTP (Partners to the Promise) college.
Cynthia Thomas Parker, 62, entered into eternal life Sunday August 22nd 2021 in Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her father Millard F. Thomas Sr., brother Keith C. Thomas and sister Krista L. Thomas, sister in law Geraldine Yancey.
She Leaves to Cherish her memory: her husband Gerald M. Parker, son Marc L. Thomas (Nneka Thomas) of Charlotte, NC, daughter Gerakita Thomas of Charlotte, NC, step son Gerald M. Parker lll of Portsmouth, VA, Mother Erma L. Thomas of Atlanta, Ga, 2 brothers Millard F. Thomas Jr. (Marcella Thomas) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Marc L. Thomas (Paula Thomas) of Charlotte, NC, sister Vonda Harris (Arthur Harris) of Atlanta, Ga, sister-in-law Debra Stallings of West Haven, CT, grandchildren Jalen Thomas, Demario Washington Jr., Zoey Thomas, 5 Nieces, 2 nephews, great nieces and great nephews, a brother from another Henry Copeland Sr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
