Cyrus O’Neal, a Rio Rancho resident, passed away in his sleep on October 21, 2025 at the age of 30.
He was born on January 20, 1995 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Andreanna Palya and Clifford O’Neal.
In 2021 he welcomed Desdemona, his beautiful baby girl. He was devoted to her well-being helping her to become a thriving happy child.
Cyrus had a witty sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He also had an artistic side and loved to draw. He was an avid hockey fan who rooted for the New Jersey Devils.
Cyrus will be deeply missed by his daughter Desdemona, mom Andreanna, sisters Mary and Lauren (Andrew), nana Carmen, aunts Kristina (James) and Rachel.
Cyrus was preceded in death by his father, Cliff O’Neal, great grandparents, Isidro and Emma Roybal and grandmother, Loretta O’Neal.
Although Cyrus has passed, his spirit will forever remain in all of our hearts.
Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.
