D. Rusty Robinett of Centralia passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 17, 1956 in Centralia. He was the 1st born child to his parents, Darrell F. Robinett and Margaret (Williamson) Robinett. He married the love of his life, Kimberly (Brantley) Robinett on July 9, 1977 and she survives him.

Other survivors left to mourn his passing, is his daughter: Lindsay (Justin) Eigenrauch of Nashville, IL and his son: Blake A. Robinett. Also survived by his sisters: Gail (Steve) Barr, Pamela (Dwight) Terry, and Tina (Ron) Ward all of Centralia. Also survived by his 3 granddaughters: Hanley Presswood, Maisy and Renley Eigenrauch and his faithful 4 legged companion and assist dog: Chewy.

He was preceded in death by both parents, grandparents: Elvia and Helen Robinett and Thomas and Adilade Williamson, and nephew: TJ Terry.

Rusty graduated Centralia High School class of 1974. He retired as a Painter in the Allied Trades Union. He also worked several years as a team lead for Ligma Corp. In his spare time, he always had a project he was working on whether it was restoring an old truck or car or the never ending home remodeling projects. He was also skilled in woodworking or refurbishing furniture. Most of all, he valued quality time with his family.

Funeral Services for Rusty will be held on Friday, January 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at The Rock Church, 515 Airport Road Centralia, Illinois 62801, with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 4-7 PM and Friday, January 9, 2026 from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Memorials can be made to The Rock Church or charity of donors choice and will be accepted at the accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois, 62801 (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Rusty's Family.
