Dah Klay

Dah Klay, 51, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on the afternoon of Friday, January 13, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Services for Dah will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Dah Klay was born on January 1, 1972 to parents Oo Maung Khin and Ma Htway Bu in Hlaing Bwe Myo, Burma. She was the mother to 7 children. She was united to Tha Sen on January 1, 1990. In 2007, Dah and her family moved to Amarillo, Texas where they lived until 2011 when they re located and called Marshalltown, Iowa home. She worked for JBS in Marshalltown from 2011 until November of 2022.
In her free time, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, cook food for her family, and take care of the home. She was always hardworking and caring to everyone and adored being a mother to her children.
She is survived by her husband Tha Sen; her children, Kyaw Oo, Kari Paw, Ya Soe, Hser Paw, Maw Oo, Eh Htoo, and Muwin Paw; her grandchildren, Jace Wellsons, Alan Wellsons, Emilio Doe Soe, Ku Say, and Hsar Htoo; and her siblings Ma Kyaw and Bu You.
