Daisy Polite, an extraordinary soul from Dermott, Arkansas, gracefully transitioned from this life on August 18, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished memories.
Born on November 8, 1943, to the loving parents Eddie and Ollie Mae Franklin in Portland, Arkansas, Daisy’s life was marked by her unwavering spirit and dedication. A proud graduate of Tillis High School in 1963, she was not only an ardent student but also an athlete, playing on the team that won a prestigious High School State Championship.
Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchild, Dominique Brown, and her three dear siblings, Eddie Mae Wright, Anthony Richardson, and Betty Ebury, who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude. Daisy's journey through life was also touched by sorrow, as she was preceded in death by her son, Elliot Polite, and her sister, Dorothy Caron.
As we remember Daisy, we celebrate her impactful presence, her love for family, and the joyous moments she shared with those around her. May her spirit live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
