Dakota John Kepka, age 15 of St. Peter, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2025.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, St. Peter with visitation beginning at 9:00am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. To view the service livestream or see a complete obituary, please visit www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Dakota was born August 20, 2009 in Mankato to James "Jim" and Karen (Schneider) Kepka. He attended elementary school in St. Peter and then Riverbend School in New Ulm. He was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, and Dance Express in Mankato. Dakota enjoyed playing kickball and with cars, dancing, riding bike and in the golf cart, pushing the stroller, dancing, and most importantly, Christmas!

Left to remember Dakota are his parents Jim and Karen; aunts: Nancy Kepka, Margaret Nourie, Jannice Schneider, Diane Wilson, Lois Schneider, Diana Schneider, and Heidi Schneider; uncles: Delbert Kepka, Steve Schneider, Mark Schneider, Gary Schneider, Calvin Nourie, Paul Wilson, and Ken Gabbert; many cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Schneider and Kepka grandparents, aunt Carol, and cousins: Dustin and Dylan Schneider.
