Dale A. Bluemer

Dale A. Bluemer, age 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He was born on January 14, 1953, in Saginaw, MI to the late Wilber and Marion (Frost) Bluemer. He was a graduate of Bridgeport High School in 1971. He married the love of his life, Kathy Strait on June 25, 1977. She preceded him in death in 2012. He worked for General Motors for 25 years. He was the Detroit Tigers #1 fan and loved to collect records, model cars, and most of all, license plates. He adored his family, but cherished his cat Jack, his grandkids, and great-grandson the most. He is survived by his children, Carrie Bluemer and Brad (Vicki) Bluemer; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jody, Cheyanne, Julian, Brady, Nathan, and Conner and great-grandson Caiden, as well as many nieces and nephews and a license plate buddy, Rick Morrison. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy, his sisters Nancy and Pat, and his parents Wilber and Marion and many more. There will be a memorial service on Saturday April 13, 2024, at the Wheeler Free Methodist Church in Wheeler, MI, with visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm.
