ENOSBURG - Dale Burns, age 70, passed away on Sunday, March 29th, 2026 at the UVM Medical Center with her family by her side. Dale had three courageous battles with breast cancer, winning two of them before succumbing to the horrible disease. She would want to tell you, "Get those mammograms".
She was born on August 3rd, 1955 in St. Albans to Edwin and Margurite (Neveau) Perry.
Dale worked for many years in the insurance business before retiring in 2019 from Hacket, Valine Macdonald. She had to keep herself busy working part time, even after retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Casino trips, or even just hanging out at home with her four legged friends, Oakley and Bentley.
Dale will be so missed. She was so sweet and didn't deserve so many of the bad hands she was dealt. She never let any of that change her, she was always sweet and kind despite it.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Burns; children, Jean (Gendron) Stanislas and her husband Normand, and Samuel Gendron Jr; Jim's daughters, Joanne Robitaille and her husband Donald, Nancy Burns and her partner Chuck McAllister, and Elizabeth Burns. Dale loved her grandchildren to pieces, affectionately known as "Grammy" to, Tyler, Mikaila, Shane, Brandon, Logan, Mckenna, Gavin and Emily, they brought her immense joy and she was so proud of them. She also leaves behind a sister, Audrey Patterson and her husband Stuart, and Dean Perry whom she considered a brother to her. She was predeceased by her first husband, Sam Gendron, her parents Edwin and Margurite, and siblings, Diane Ryea and Roger Perry.
In respecting Dale's wishes, there will be no public services.
