Dale Clubb, age 80, of Greenwood, Florida, passed away at his home on October 8, 2025. He was born on August 16, 1945, in Flagstaff, Arizona, to James Houston Clubb and Maebelle Roberts Clubb. He was a proud graduate of Denham Springs High School.
After high school, Dale proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as a vehicle management specialist, dedicating four years of honorable service. After returning home, he was a mechanic for a few years where he met the love of his life at work. He then worked for Borden’s in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, until the company closed. He later moved to Florida, where he worked at Metal Products for 21 years as a forklift operator before retiring in 2023.
In his spare time, Dale enjoyed woodworking and was known for his skill and creativity in crafting with his hands. He loved his family deeply and was a devoted member of Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church, where his faith guided his life and actions.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Beverly Brown Clubb; his parents, James and Maebelle Clubb; his brother, Grady Chambers; and his sisters, Violet Bernard and Emma Clubb.
Dale is survived by three daughters, Angela Clubb (Carey) of French Settlement, Louisiana, Melissa Tyus (Brandon) of Greenwood, Florida, and Amanda Rush (Dave) of Greenwood, Florida; three sons, Grady Clubb (Sarah), James Clubb, and Daniel Clubb, all of Marianna, Florida; and one sister, Charlotte "Lavon" Chambers of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church in Grand Ridge with Pastors Mike Allen and LaVon Pettis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 5:00 PM, Friday, October 10, 2025, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
