James Glen Duncan, 64, of Altha, Florida, died Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Jackson Hospital in Marianna. He was born September 24, 1961, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to Sam Henry Duncan, Jr. and Othella Ellen Sewell.
Glen retired from the Sunland Center, where he dedicated many years of his life. He had a passion for various interests, enjoying watching Star Trek and wrestling, and had a knack for working with computers that brought him much joy. Glen was also a member of Grand Ridge Baptist Church, where he found a loving community. Glen leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and community.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Duncan; and sister, Diane Mistrot.
Glen is survived by his wife, Frances H. Duncan; his brother, Greg Duncan; his sister, Delores Simnioriw; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Grand Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. Caron Harn officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Altha with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at Grand Ridge Baptist Church.
