Dale Davis left this Earth to be with his Lord and Savior on October 21, 2025. Born in 1943 to Les and Rosine Davis, Dale's journey began in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He moved to Saco, MT, where he lived from ages 4 to 14. The family then moved to Fairfield, and Dale graduated from high school there in May of 1961.

Dale's early career included work on the Minute Man Missiles, followed by college studies at Eastern in Billings. He contributed to the Montana Highway Department before marrying Linda Buchanan in 1966.

Shortly after, Dale was drafted and served honorably at Ft. Lewis, WA from 1966 to 1968. In 1972, Dale married Mardi Peterson, and soon after began operating heavy machinery. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to start Ds Insulation in 1977, which he later sold. Dale's talents extended to building commercial offices and apartments, and he took great pride in constructing a beautiful cabin at Boyd, where he loved hosting gatherings.

Dale's greatest business achievement was his apartment complexes in Billings Heights, a testament to his vision and dedication. He was an avid fisherman, traveling to Alaska and Canada six times, as well as the Amazon River and Costa Rica. His passion for scuba diving took him around the world, including Australia, the Caribbean, Fiji, Mexico, and Lake DeSmet.

A lover of classic cars, Dale enjoyed restoring and driving a variety of vehicles, including a '39 Ford, '51 Chevy, '54 Ford, '65 Chevy, '65 Mustang, '66 Chevy convertible, '69 Tornado, '67 Ford Pickup.

Dale cherished the friendships, colleagues, and family members who enriched his life. He was deeply grateful to each person who made his journey wonderful. Dale found profound comfort and joy in scripture, especially in the truth that "God is Good." He attested to God's goodness throughout his life, making faith a central part of his journey. Dale's commitment to sharing his faith led him to guide many people to Christ, and he was involved in prison ministry, reaching out to those in need of hope and spiritual support. His unwavering belief and dedication to serving others through his faith will be remembered as one of his greatest legacies.

Dale Davis will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, generosity, and unwavering faith. He also enjoyed meeting musicians and sharing in their artistry. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Dale is proceeded in death by his parents, Les and Rosine Davis. Dale is survived by his daughter, Nikki (Darrell) Grotz; his sons Rob (Patti) Davis and Josh Davis and six cherished grandchildren: Kate and Jackson Grotz, Riley, Braden, Ackley and Tristan Davis.
