Denise D. Davis

Denise D. Davis, 63, of Ashville, passed away peacefully but suddenly in her home on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. She was born in Jamestown on August 18, 1962, to Dennis and Sally Jensen Hagg.
A vivacious family woman describes Denise's very being. Beyond working as the cook for Chautauqua Lake Central School, she loved to feed her family and was phenomenal at doing so.
A loving grandmother, Denise lived for her grandchildren. What's more, she adored her dogs, Zoey and Jackson. Time spent camping and four wheeling with her tribe brought endless joy to her spirit.
Denise affectionately shopped until she dropped; distinctly, though, she always managed to find the best deals. In recent years, Denise worked on her skill in crocheting and knitting.
Putting others before herself was a way of life. Denise cared for everyone, from her mom down to her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard "Rick" Davis, whom she married July 14, 2012; her son, Justin (Jill) Roberts; her stepson, Jon (Valerie) Davis; her siblings, Robin (Al "Muff") Miller, Dennis Hagg, Jr., and Darci (Shawn) Rudny; her grandchildren, Hunter Roberts, Brantley Roberts, Rayna Tremblay, Eleanor Davis, and John Davis; many cherished nieces and great nieces; as well as her brother-in-law, Randy (Becky) Davis.
Denise was preceded in death by her daughter, Karlee Paige Roberts, who passed away in 2022.
The funeral service for Denise will be at 1pm Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation for two hours prior to the service from 11am-1pm Saturday at Lind's.
