Dale Julius Koss, age 98, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024.
Born on June 13, 1925, in Adrian, Michigan, to Joseph and Cecilia Koss, Dale's unwavering dedication to his family and his country left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A veteran of the United States Army during World War II, Dale's commitment to service extended through every aspect of his life. He found love early on with meeting the love of his life, Dolores, through friends whom he later married and shared a lifetime of memories with.
During his 40-year career with Michigan Bell, now AT&T, he displayed the same precision and dedication that he brought to his woodworking and electronics hobbies.
Dale's passion for craftsmanship was unmatched, with each project reflecting his meticulous nature and unwavering patience. He found joy in sharing his interests with his lifelong friends from 'The Poker Club,' and their gatherings and trips were treasured highlights in his life.
The legacy of Dale's humor, warmth, and unyielding pursuit of excellence will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. Dale's journey may have come to an end, but his memory will remain eternally cherished.
Beloved father of Kathy (Tom) Cloutier, and Debbie (Bill) Lynn; cherished grandfather of Jenny (Josh), Jason (Nada), Alan (Sara), and Don (Caitlin); loving great-grandfather of Kiera, Madison, Mason, Nikola, Colin, Cameron, Emmie, Nolan, and Josie.
Dale is preceded in passing by his beloved wife Dolores Koss, brother Nobert Koss, and parents Joseph and Cecilia Koss.
Visitation to take place on Saturday, March 16 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral on Sunday, March 17 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 10:00 AM. Service at 11:00 AM.
