Dale Lent Obituary

Born on November 22nd, 1954, Dale was a man who lived life on his own terms. He had a deep love for the open road and the rumble of his Harley. Nothing made him happier than hitting the highway and visiting with friends and family. His taste in music was legendary; he was a die-hard fan of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, and the sound of their music was a soundtrack to his life.
He leaves behind his loving children, Karie (Robert) Piersma, Dale Lent Jr., James (Heather) DeVault, and Travis Patterson. Dale was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sherry Van Slyke.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lent; stepmother, Shirley Lent; mother, Charlene Main; and his brothers, Theodore Chmurynski, Bruce Persons, and Samuel Persons.
A celebration of Dale's life will be held on Sunday, September 7th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 152 N State St, Sparta, MI 49345. Friends and family are invited to come share stories and memories.
