Dale R. Loomis

Dale R. Loomis 78, of Aurora, passed away Saturday November 15, 2025 at his home. He was born September 27, 1947 in Modovi, Wisconsin; son of Cecil and Myrtle (Eide) Loomis. Dale proudly served in The United States Army during the Vietnam War; achieving the rank Private. He was employed as a builder at Caterpillar Manufacturing for over 20 years. Dale is survived by his son Shawn (Lesa). 4 grandchildren; Jordan (Jake) Harrold, Jessica (Paul) Cofer, Faith Loomis and Paige Loomis. 5 sisters; Betty (the late John) Worley, Mary Anderson, Linda Langreck, Iva Koeneman, Jean ( John) Brantner and a brother Tom; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family would also like to make special mention and thanks to the Pridemore family. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Bernita Jones. 4 brothers; Don, David, Larry, William and his longtime companion Sharon Farrington. A niece; Connie Velasquez and 2 nephews; Ronnie Broughan and Tony Mendez. A graveside service will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Monday November 24, 2025 at 10:30 am.
