Dale is survived by his daughter, Hannah Viola Pleasants; his sisters, Joyce Phillips, Tammie Piper (Irvin), and Kimberly Murray (Jamie); a special aunt, Faye Wilson; a special nephew, Mark Tucker; and many other nieces and nephews.
Dale loved and respected the Lord. He loved being around family. Dale was a fighter with a strong will. He was a joker, with a sweet tooth and was also a bit of a gambler. He enjoyed listening to southern rock music.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 6:00-7:30pm at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. Franklinton, NC 27525; where funeral services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 3:00pm, burial will follow at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery on Bruce Garner Rd. in Wake Forest.
In lieu of flowers, consider contributions to Cardinal Hospice, 3884 Henderson Dr. Jacksonville, NC 28546
