Dale Swisher

Dale Keith Swisher, 64, of Grafton, WV, passed away November 12th, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic surrounded by members of his loving family. He was born in Grafton, WV on May 22nd, 1961, the youngest son of the late Harold D. and Madelyn (Adkins) Swisher.
Dale is survived by his wife Sandra Kay (Pratt) Swisher, whom he married on October 11th, 1997. He is also survived by a daughter, Gabrielle Taylor, and his beloved grandson, Kaiden Drain.
Also surviving is his brother, Don Swisher, as well as several siblings-in-law, several beloved nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dorsey (Junie) Swisher and Randy Swisher as well as his sisters-in-law Brenda Swisher and Bev Swisher.
Dale graduated from Grafton High School in 1980. Throughout his career he spent many years as a Volunteer Firefighter with Grafton Fire Department as well as working at the Mountain Statesman Newspaper. Later he worked in the bronze factory in Kingwood, WV. He retired from Nine Dragons Paper recycling mill in Fairmont, WV in 2023.
At his request, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life service will be planned at a later date.
