Dale N. White, 69, of Columbia Crossroads, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2025. Born on March 18, 1956, in Troy, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Charles A. White, Jr. and Marcia Churchill White.

Dale graduated from Troy High School in 1974 and went on to Mansfield University where he graduated with honors with his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration. His degree ultimately led to a career of 20 years of dedicated employment with the Boy Scouts of America until his retirement.

He received his Eagle Scout in 1971 and was a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts' character and ideals. He deeply loved his wife, family, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and his country. He was a faithful supporter of Christians United For Israel. After his retirement from the Boy Scouts of America, Dale became very active with the local Gideon Camp, His Tabernacle Family Church and the Berrytown Wesleyan Church. Through the years, many baptisms and church picnics have been hosted at his home at Laurel Lake.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles in 1964, his mother, Marcia in 2004, and brother Lynn A. White (Enterprise, AL) in 2013.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karol Honeywell White; sons, Jason A. White (Tasha), Wellsboro, PA; Bradley C. White, San Antonio, TX; Joshua C. White, Millard, DE; daughter Birdy (Aimee) White Bayless and husband Scott Bayless, Fort Walton Beach, FL; grandchildren Trinadee, Conor, Brigid, Ella, Eli (Elijah), Rowan, Ophelia, Eli, Zuriel, and great grandson Jonah. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Lance and Gay White, Tacoma, WA; sister-in-law June White, Enterprise, AL; mother-in-law Claire Honeywell and dear friend Ron Gleckner, Canton, PA; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends and pets.

Calling hours for Dale will be on Monday, September 22, at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton, PA, beginning at 11:00 am, with a service to follow at 1:00 pm. There will be an interment service at the graveside, in Glenwood cemetery, for the immediate family following the funeral service.

Dale was particularly dedicated to seeing the youth in our area and our nation come to a faith and hope in Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to Uproar Youth, His Tabernacle Family Church, 16 Level Acres Drive, Horseheads, NY 14845.
