Dalis DeParis

Dalis DeParis, 104, of Methuen, MA, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Frederico and Sabatina (Ciccala) De Paris.

Dalis was born and raised in Lawrence, MA. He enlisted and served as a Gunner's Mate on PT Boats in the South Pacific during World War II. After the war, he worked in the CC camps on the GI bill and then attended Wentworth Institute, where he became a Master Electrician. He spent most of his career as an electrician working for the Hart Brothers from Andover, MA and for the City of Methuen, where he retired. He spent his years of retirement as an avid golfer, gardener, and home chef. He also appreciated the occasional political discussion. Dalis especially enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, who were the most important thing in his life.

Dalis married his late wife, Virginia (Scalera) De Paris, and together they had four children. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jacqueline Washburn. He is survived by his daughters, Eileen DeVeau and her husband, Paul DeVeau, and Elaine De Paris and her life partner, David Turner; and by his son, Frederick De Paris, and his wife, Danielle De Paris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
