Dallin Spencer Johnson, age 25, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, returned to his loving
Savior and Redeemer on January 20, 2025, in St. George, Utah.
He entered his rest and returned to his loving grandparents that passed on before him. Knowing
Dallin, he is laughing with loved ones on the other side about all of his adventures.
Dallin was born December 22, 1999 to David and Wendy Johnson, the youngest of four, with
three older sisters. He often joked that he had four moms.
Dallin thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially if it meant speeding down a snowy slope,
jumping off the tallest diving board, climbing any mountain or rock while leaving everyone far
behind, racing through the water in a boat or riding his "flashy" motorcycle. He also loved
spending time with his family, laughing and telling jokes. He wasn't shy about telling others how
much he loved his sisters, nieces and nephews.
He had a love of building and collecting legos, science, and technology. His adventurous spirit
and love of nature, which calmed his brain, gave him an untameable desire to live in St George,
Utah. With the support of his family, he was able to build an independent, joyful, fulfilling life
there. He was proud of this accomplishment.
In 2019, Dallin started experiencing seizures. To witness the effect of them, and what he was
going through, had a deep effect on us. We were worried and constantly alert. There were many
hurdles to finding the right treatment.
It was Dallin that helped us gain confidence, because he didn't let the seizures or anything else
hold him back. He had a fierce determination to live the life he wanted, without reservation,
always trying to do his best, and chasing his dreams. He taught us great lessons. Through it all,
he was cheerful and wondered why everyone else was so worried.
Even after his passing, we have experienced moments of deep gratitude and peace knowing
that he lived as the Savior taught by "Being of good cheer". Even now, we still feel joy,
goodness and laughter because of the way he lived.
Dallin is survived by his parents, David and Wendy. He is also survived by his sisters Julie
(Jacob), Amber (Max) and Alicia, along with three nieces and three nephews, his cousins, aunts
and uncles and countless extended family and friends who knew and loved him. We will miss
his laughter, stories and even his endless teasing.
Dear Dallin, we love you, thank you for sharing your infectious enthusiasm for life. You will
never be forgotten because our family tree will always grow!
A celebration of Dallin's life will be held Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 from 6 pm to 8 pm at
the Highland Park Ward building on 11543 S. Keystone Dr., South Jordan, UT 84095.
