Aiken, SC – Funeral Services for Dalton Blake Cooper, 25, who entered into rest May 19, 2024, will be conducted Friday afternoon from the Posey Funeral Chapel, Rev. Brian Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5 until 7.
Dalton was born October 21, 1998, in Augusta, GA to Cecil Cooper and Shannon Parrish. He was a 2017 graduate of Fox Creek High School. Dalton worked as an ambulance driver for Regional Ambulance Service and was working toward his EMT certification. He was a caring young man with a kind heart and wonderful sense of humor. Dalton loved animals, playing video games and reading books. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Elmer Suell.
Survivors include his mother, Shannon Parrish (James); father, Rodney Cooper, Jr. (Lisa); sister, Ansley Parrish; brothers, Jody Parrish (Ashley), Logan Parrish and Wyatt Cooper; grandparents, Martha Suell, Rodney Cooper, Sr., Shirley Legate and James D. Parrish; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jody Parrish, Logan Parrish, Allen Bailey, Aaron Bailey, Branden Hill, Davis Hill and Kinglsey Laviolette.
Memorials may be made to Friends of the Animal Shelter, www.fotasaiken.org
