Mr. Hunter LaRon Durden, 24, of Langley, SC, son of Keith and Kimberly "Kim" Norris Durden, entered into rest on Monday, February 12, 2024.
A lifelong area resident, he formerly attended Fox Creek High School, was a member of Gloverville First Baptist Church and was employed by TEC. Hunter was an avid Softball Player and was happiest when he was playing ball with his buddies on the AGNB Softball Team. (ALL GAS..NO BRAKES) He was known for his outgoing personality and a smile that could light up any room. Hunter was also known for his quick wit and playing pranks on others usually at their expense. He also enjoyed fishing and gaming with his friends.
In addition to his parents, family members include a brother, Tyler Durden and his companion, Hailee Baughman, grandparents, Ron and Imogene Durden and Larry and the late Judy Norris, aunt and uncle, Melissa and the late Ralph Thomas, niece, Nova Jeann Durden, cousins, Matthew Thomas and his wife, Tina and Dakotah Thomas, his softball family and countless friends.
Friends will be greeted by the family on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastors Ralph Parker and Jimmy Napier will officiate. Interment will follow in the Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC. Pallbearers will be Tyler Durden, Brinson Newman, Rick Galloway, Matthew Thomas, Chris Nale and Caleb Moxley.
Hunters' softball buddies are asked to wear uniforms to the service on Saturday.
Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
