Dalton James Osterbind, age 21 of Hope Mills, passed away unexpectedly June 27, 2023. Born in Cumberland County, he is the son of Walter James Smith and Jami Osterbind.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Smith. He is survived by his parents Walter and Jami; grandparents, Richard and Kathy Osterbind; sisters, Heather Smith and Logan Smith; a brother, Jay McNeill and wife Dustlyn; a nephew, Azariah McNeill, and a host of family and friends.
Dalton attended Gray's Creek High School. He enjoyed playing drums and the guitar. He also liked swimming, fishing, shooting guns, and going to haunted houses. He will be remembered and missed by all who loved and knew him.
