Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brown's Funeral Service - Madill on Oct. 14, 2025.
Dalton Chandler Parsons of Haskell, Oklahoma, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 3, 1999. He passed away at his mother's home in Arkoma, Oklahoma on October 13, 2025, surrounded by family in his mother's arms. Dalton spent his childhood living in Kingston, Oklahoma on Lake Texoma, in Haskell Oklahoma and Alex, Oklahoma where he graduated high school. Dalton joined the Army National Guard, then worked various jobs including working for the City of Durant and doing security for the Choctaw Nation.
Dalton's life was cut short due to a drunk driver before he achieved his goal of following in his dad's footsteps by becoming a truck driver. Dalton's main joy in life were his sons Daxton and Danyon. Dalton was very musically talented. He loved playing the guitar, keyboard, piano, tuba, trombone, and any instrument he came in contact with. He had a natural talent that won him many awards and achievements, but his joy came from making others around him smile when they heard him play or sing. Dalton spent his life helping people, cheering people up, pulling pranks or doing stunts to make people laugh and smile. Dalton brightened up every room he walked into. His smile was contagious.
Dalton gave his heart to God in Jesus name and is being held by him now. We will forever long for the day when we can embrace him in our arms again and see his beautiful smile.
