Dameon was born in Blair, Nebraska on June 3, 1972. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Corning, IA where he spent his formative days swimming in the family pool and developing his love of minibikes. He eventually landed in Gretna, where he graduated Gretna HS in 1990. He excelled in vocational arts, building many pieces of furniture, which are still in the family today.
He spent his career working as an IT Director for First Data. He was fortunate to experience world travel with the company. He enjoyed his trips to London and Germany where he was able to experience riding his bike on the autobahn.
Dameon was able to enjoy the last few years by taking an early retirement before he passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2025. Dameon leaves behind his mother: Kathleen Reynolds; as well as his two siblings: Kami (John) Cappello and Devon Horner; his nephew: Tanner (Shannon) Cappello; niece: Lexi Cappello; and cousin: Alysia Clary.
There will be a Visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM Friday (5/2/2025) at Roeder Mortuary 11710 Standing Stone Dr. Gretna, Nebraska 68028; The family will have a Private Burial at Holy Sepulchre Gretna at a later date.
