Cora Nell Horner, 84, Jonesboro, passed away in her home at 12:38 am on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She was born in Gas City, Indiana, on Monday, April 7, 1941, to Clyde Parks and Bernice Wallace-Parks. She married David Marvin Horner, who preceded her in death.

Cora graduated from Mississinewa High School and when she was younger, she attended Southside Wesleyan Church. She loved her family dearly. She was a wonderful caretaker who tenderly cared for family when they were sick. For fun, she enjoyed playing Bingo.

Survivors include her son, David Horner of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Ria (Jason) Andrews, Douglas Horner, Austin Horner; great-grandchildren, Heavenly Angel Andrews, Jason M. Andrews, Rosalyn Horner; step granddaughter, Kayla (Mike Wright) Hile; brothers, Roger Dean (Melissa) Parks, Russell (Roxanne) Parks; sister, Billie Joleen Webb; and nephew, Nick Parks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Marvin Horner; father, Clyde Parks; and mother, Bernice Wallace-Parks.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Cora 's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Chaplain Les Turner officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
